Photos: ZimbioJessica Chastain arrived at Cecconi’s restaurant for the 5th Annual Women in Film Pre-Oscar cocktail party — hosted by MaxMara — wearing a pink three quarter sleeve crepe cocktail dress, from the Spring/Summer 2011 collection by Elie Saab, that looked great with her strawberry red tresses.
I adore the folded details at the slightly square-cut neckline; this is a refreshing design from the usual v-neck dresses.
It didn’t feature any loud embellishments, but Jessica knew that the color of her Saab dress was eye-popping enough that she didn’t need to pile on the accessories. With side-parted lightly waved tresses and even lighter make-up, “The Help” actress finished off her look with black patent pumps by Christian Louboutin.
The shoes could have been inspired, but I’m expecting many classic black and nude pumps this Oscar weekend.
Later on in the evening, Jessica headed to the Hotel Bel-Air for the Vanity Fair and Richard Mille celebration of Martin Scorsese in support of The Film Foundation.
